Eliminating a defender: C-scrapes

Love this little faking-it move – it looks deceptively simple. Dribble the ball, then make a C movement with the stick on the ground (touching the ground according to the coach on this clip) only to change direction with the stick, bamboozle the defender and eliminate them. Easy – not!

  1. Watching this again it’s clear that what the coach calls ‘body sway’ is important – you lean to the left and pull to the right (a pull of at least a ‘yard’) to help the deception.
